Cultural Institutions of Post Human Production?

See here an interview with the architect Liam Young engaging with the speculative topic of space that is increasingly defined by machine vision and efficiency algorithms, not so much the human scale. This short interview with Young, from December 2015 at the CCCB in Barcelona, relates to the work “New City: Machines of Post Human Production” and the wider scale of smart cities but we would encourage to consider what such speculative works could offer also a critical evaluation of spaces of cultural institutions as architectures of data. Can those also be approached by way of design fiction and by way of speculating about the architectural scales of human-centred design being rethought through “algorithmic curating” (a term used among others by curator Joasia Krysa to broadly speaking to refer to the networked institutions and practices of cultural production and preservation).
